No. 12 Georgia Bulldogs (-17.0)(2-1, 0-1 SEC)

The No. 12 Georgia Bulldogs look to notch their first win in the SEC as they take on a 2-1 Tennessee team that is looking to make a name for themselves in the harsh SEC.

Georgia is coming off a glorified scrimmage against Troy which they won 66-0. The Bulldogs are behind the eight ball when it comes to the SEC East after a loss to South Carolina, but coach Mark Richt said that the SEC is still wide open in this young season.

"It still looks wide open to me," coach Mark Richt. "Now, if we don't win Saturday, it won't be very wide open for us. But I think everybody feels that way. I doubt anything will be settled until there are maybe one or two games to go."

"Hopefully he'll have more energy next week because we're going to need it," Richt said

Tennessee almost knocked off the Bulldogs last season, but Georgia tied it with five seconds left in regulation to win 34-31 in overtime. The Volunteers have started a Football Bowl Subdivision record 22 freshman this season and their young is both a blessing and a curse.

Tennessee leads the all-time series with Georgia 21-20-2, but the Bulldogs have won the last four meetings between the teams.
