Friday Night Football features a pair of 1-2 teams looking to get back to .500 and get their first win in the American conference as the South Florida Bulls host the Connecticut Huskies.

These two teams are looking to get back in the in column after dropping their games last week. The Bulls lost to NC State 49-17 while the Huskies fell to Boise State 38-21. Both teams rank toward the bottom of the country in turnover differential and UConn coach Bob Diaco said he believes that is what has caused the Huskies struggles.

"I think we attack the ball, create a few fumbles," Diaco said. "We're not an up-the-field, feast or famine defense. We're a keep-the-points-down defense. In some systems you'll see turnovers and also as you see turnovers rise, you also see big plays rise.

"It's important that we keep the points down. If we can generate turnovers after that, then that's what we want to do. We don't want to structure it to create turnovers. That's not how we're going to build our football team. We want to create turnovers.”

South Florida has won six of the 11 matchups with Connecticut and has won the last two meetings in 2012 and 2003.
