College Gameday makes it’s way to Boston College for the Eagles game against the No. 9 USC Trojans who are fresh off a huge victory against Stanford.
USC topped the Cardinal despite being beat in almost every part of the game, but big plays and penalties helped the Trojans top their hated rival. Now the Trojans have to continue to impress against Boston College.
Coach Steve Sarkisian spoke about last weeks game and then stated that the team needs to avoid the hangover against a team that has nothing to lose.
"I think it says a lot that we can come in against this team, in this environment, and the game not really going our way and not really in our favor, just for whatever reason, and find a way to win," said Sarkisian.
The Eagles will see four more ranked opponents this season, including No. 1 Florida State in late November. Boston College is coming off an upsetting loss to Pittsburgh and will look to rebound against the Trojans.
USC beat Boston College 34-7 the only time these two teams met in 1988 and the Eagles have dropped 11 straight game to ranked opponents by an average of 16.6 points.
