Texas Longhorns(1-1, 0-0 Big 12)

No. 12 UCLA has looked vulnerable in two games this year and now they face off against a Texas team that has seen much better days.

UCLA is 2-0 and they should consider themselves lucky to be so fortunate to this point. The Bruins haven’t looked to be the dominant force that was expected as they have beat unranked Virginia 28-20 on three defensive touchdowns and squeaked out a 42-35 win against Memphis at home.

Coach Jim Mora spoke about fixing the team’s mistakes and how he looks forward to building off the two victories.

"We can't wait to get things fixed," UCLA coach Jim Mora said. "We have to fix things now. ... (Older) guys like us, we understand how fast life goes, and I don't think these guys always understand it, so it's a matter of making them understand it's important right now.”

Texas continues to go through growing pains as they are coming off an embarrassing 41-7 loss to BYU. The Longhorns are without starting quarterback David Ash for the foreseeable future due to his concussion history. Texas’ first season under Charlie Strong is looking like one the university would like to forget.

UCLA and Texas have seen each other six times and have split their series 3-3. Texas won the last meeting in 2011 by a score of 49-20.
