Two nations looking to be crowned kings of Central America will do battle today in a Copa Centroamericana match between El Salvador and Belize. The contest scheduled for 8 p.m. ET will be held at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on Univision Deportes.
El Salvador's Richard Menjivar had this to offer following his crucial goal in a 1-0 victory over Honduras (via CONCACAF): "During the play, I received the ball, picked my head up, was looking for a teammate, but didn't see any movement, so I did the fake to see if something would happen and luckily the defender bit a little bit. I went to the left and luckily it went in. I'm very happy and thankful to God for the opportunity. It was an unreal feeling. It gives me goosebumps just thinking about it, bringing them [the fans] happiness is incredible."
When asked about the remainder of the tournament, he added: "We know that we still have one game left and that they are a very good team. We have to focus and concentrate to get the result against them [Belize] as well."
