Two nations looking to return to form will do battle today in an international friendly between Chile and Haiti. The match scheduled for 8 p.m. ET will be held at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on beIN Sports en Español.
Chile head coach Jorge Sampaoli had this to offer following Chile's scoreless draw against Mexico on American soil (via El Mostrador): "[Chile] did not lose their identity. Chile did not wait, despite the pressure the Mexicans gave us. You don't have to question the attacking characteristics of the players of Chile. We spent a lot of time in the rival's side of the pitch. We did not lose our identity despite the outcome."
"The idea of playing with a target man was about leaving the Mexican central defenders without a reference point. When that idea was lost, I allowed Pinilla to enter. He had chances to score, but did not finish."
Chile will look to finish their chances against a less-formidable opponent in Fort Lauderdale this evening.
