The burden that comes with being No. 1 in the country and the defining national champions is that everyone is always watching you. This is the case as Florida State plays Citadel at home this weekend.

Florida State is coming off a 37-31 win against Oklahoma State and they are getting plenty of criticism for not blowing their doors off. Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston spoke about the teams expectations and the win against the Cowboys.

"There is no reason to get upset because I feel like we needed a great game," Winston said "And Oklahoma State was outstanding out there. They never gave up.”

Winston threw for 370 yards and ran for 28 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in the win.

Citadel is coming off a 31-16 loss to Coastal Carolina, who made the FCS quarterfinals last season. Citadel’s game plan will be as it always is, run the ball early and often. The Bulldogs ran for 358 yards last week and only threw the ball eight times.

Florida State leads the all-time series with Citadel 5-0-1 and won the last meeting between the two 62-10 in 2005.
