Week 2 of the college football season continues as ACC rivals the Pittsburgh Panthers and Boston College Eagles play for the chance to go 2-0 in this young season.

These two teams have fallen on awkward times as they were caught up in the destruction of the Big East. Now they find themselves in the ACC looking to renew a rivalry that was less than stellar to start.

Boston College returns an ACC-low nine starters but have been very difficult to beat at home as of late while the Panthers have struggled on the road with more returning players. This one could come down for the wire and prove to be a much bigger test than their Week 1 games.

Pitt running back James Conner is the player to watch for the Panthers as he ran for 153 yards and four touchdowns on just 15 attempts last week. For the Eagles, senior quarterback Tyler Murphy could look for another monster game to go with his Week 1 performance. Murphy threw for 173 yards with one touchdown and also ran for 118 yards and a touchdown on 13 attempts.

Pittsburgh is coming off a 62-0 demolishing of the Delaware Fightin Blue Hens and Boston College won their matchup with the Massachusetts Minutemen 30-7. Pitt leads the all-time series with Boston College 19-16, including a three game winning streak.
