Two nations looking to return to form will do battle today in an international friendly between England and Norway. The match scheduled for 3 p.m. ET will be held at Wembley Stadium in London and can be live streamed here free. Additional TV coverage can be found on Fox Sports 2.
England captain Wayne Rooney had this to offer ahead of today's encounter (via the Telegraph): "I was in that little group which Steven [Gerrard] put together for the last two years, and we had regular meetings with the manager and that eases you into the position of being captain. Steven has helped me a lot. He has a lot of qualities. He's the one who demanded the most on the pitch, which is what I feel is my strongest quality."
"Obviously, the stuff off the pitch, I'll learn," he added. "It's new to me, but I'll learn.''
Rooney's first opportunity to do so will come this week as England prepares for the 2016 European qualifiers.
