The Bruins of UCLA enter the 2014 season as the No. 7 team in the nation and look to start the season on the right foot on the road against the Virginia Cavaliers.

The Bruins No. 7 ranking is their highest preseason rank since before the 1998 season and climbed to No. 7 in 2005. Two-year starting quarterback and Heisman Trophy hopeful Brett Hundley starts his campaign for glory with the Bruins.

Hundley spoke about UCLA and what the program is trying to do in a very competitive Pac-12

"We've done something at UCLA," said Hundley. "We've helped build something, but it won't mean anything if we don't finish what we start. You can't get complacent when you have a little success.”

Redshirt sophomore Greyson Lambert gets the nod for the Cavaliers as he has a sheet of options in the form of receivers Kyle Dockins, Keeon Johnson and Miles Gooch and tight end Zach Swanson. Running back Kevin Parks and All-ACC safety Anthony Harris are other potential NFL talents on the Cavaliers squad.

UCLA is seeking it’s first Pac-12 title since 1998 and has won eight straight games against unranked opponents. This is the first meeting between the two teams.
