Appalachian State travels to Michigan to face the Wolverines for the first time since they pulled one of the biggest upsets in college football history in 2007. Can the Mountaineers pull the upset once again in the Big House?

Michigan comes in as a 35-point favorite and they should cover as the Wolverines should control this game from top to bottom. This Wolverine team isn't as strong as the 2007 squad, but they are certainly smarter seeing how that team underestimated the Mountaineers. Star quarterback Devin Gardner will have to establish new receiver targets without Jeremy Gallon, but look for sophomores Amarah Darboh and Jehu Chesson to carry the load.

App State will look to catch lightning in a bottle again and beat the Wolverines in their house. App State has fallen on hard times as they were 4-8 last season and haven't had nearly as much success against high profile college football teams since 2007.

The last two games the Mountaineers have played against top talent they were trounced by Georgia 45-6 last year, and 66-13 by Virginia Tech in 2011.

The App State Campus has even coined the phrase ‘Beat MichAGAIN’ for the game this weekend.
