There could be more trades on the horizon in the NFL as the Oakland Raiders have been tied to the New York Jets' Stephen Hill and Buffalo Bills' C.J. Spiller.

Multiple reports have surfaced as the NFL nears the date for their final cuts and the Raiders have been rumored to be in the market for both Hill and Spiller. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jets attempted to trade Hill this offseason, but no one took the bait.

As for Spiller, the Bills were involved in trade talks with the Eagles before Philadelphia backed out and traded with the New Orleans Saints for Darren Sproles. The Raiders covet the style of game that Spiller plays and it wouldn't be the craziest idea to see the team add a speedy player to the bruising backfield that already includes Maurice Jones-Drew and Darren McFadden.

Rams, 49ers Interested in Christian Ponder?

Bills general manager Doug Whaley shot down rumors that the team was in trade talks concerning Spiller, but didn't say that a trade was impossible.

"We have not been contacted by any team about C.J. Spiller. These rumors are news to me," Whaley said. "It's exciting I guess to you guys because it gives you something to fill the newspaper with. Again, no one, I'll tell you guys and you know I'm a straight shooter. We have not been contacted by any teams.

"I can probably see where people see our depth at running back and try to connect the dots with teams that don't have depth, but, again, nobody has contacted us.”

NFL teams have to have their final rosters down to 53 players by Sunday and look for any potential moves to be handled before then.
