Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant has been offered a multiyear, multimillion-dollar deal by Under Armour, potentially ending his relationship with shoe giant Nike.

ESPN is reporting that the deal on the table with Under Armour for Durant is in the vicinity of $265 to $285 million over 10 years, including stock and other incentives.

Nike can match the contract offer, as stipulated in Durant's current deal. Sources told ESPN that the last offer of the Oregon-based company was a minimum royalty guarantee that would amount to no less than $20 million per year.

Should Under Armour nab the services of Durant, it would be the biggest sponsorship deal that the firm will be able to commit to. With the average yearly pay of $26 to $28 million for Durant in the contract offer, Under Armour will be devoting almost 10 percent of its current yearly marketing budget on the OKC star.

The potential move of Durant to Under Armour could make the headlines because he's been one of the most loyal athletes under the Nike brand. In 2007, he turned down a $80 million contract offer from Adidas to sign with Nike which offered him $20 million less. That was before he even played his first NBA game with the then Seattle SuperSonics.

But things started to change for Durant when he signed up with Roc Nation Sports of rap star Jay Z last year. His new agents were said to have pushed for a stronger negotiation for his shoe deal, and even included offers from Adidas.
