Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez's future was said to be in Serie A this season, but seeing him at Juventus is no longer a foregone conclusion. According to the Daily Star, the Mexican international is atop AC Milan's target list to replace a Liverpool-bound Mario Balotelli.

With no future at Old Trafford, the pursuit Hernandez has intensified one of the most-storied rivalries in Italian football.
After finishing in eighth in the 2013-14 Serie A table, Milan are looking for a return to prominence. The decision to hire Filippo Inzaghi as manager was made to help return the big-name DNA once synonymous with the Red and Blacks, but a poor preseason performance didn't breed optimism into his appointment. That, however, has not deterred the former Milan striker.
"We lost against Valencia and we accept the defeat," Inzaghi said to Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sky Sports). "We have to remain calm and analyze the things we did well and work on the mistakes we made."
"I see a different team [from when we started]," he added. "I believe we played a very good game [against Valencia]. I can't even remember how many corners we had. Unfortunately, every time our opponents get a shot on goal at the moment they score. We cannot forget that this game was a friendly while the [Serie A] tournament will be a different story."
"We are on the right path to start well on the 31st [of August]."
Acquiring Hernandez would only lend authenticity to those claims.
