LeBron James will play in an NBA regular-season game for the first time since returning to the Cavaliers on Oct. 31, league sources told Yahoo! Sports. James and the Cavs will be at home to face the New York Knicks.

The Cavaliers were originally slated to go on the road for a showdown against the defending-champion San Antonio Spurs. Instead, James will go head-to-head with Carmelo Anthony - who was also a highly coveted free agent this summer.

While a lot of attention will be devoted to James and Anthony, Kevin Love is sure to get his fare share of the spotlight. Cleveland is expected to acquire the three-time power forward later this month from Minnesota.
