Dwayne Johnson revealed that the two were struck head-on by a drunk driver earlier this month and survived while revealing that his initial anger has turned into gratitude that they are still alive and well.

"My mom & cousin @linafanene were struck head on by a drunk driver this week - they lived, he wrote. "First reaction is to find the person who did this and do unrelenting harm to them. But then you realize the most important thing is my family lived thru this and we can hug each other that much tighter these days. Hug your own family tighter today and be grateful you can tell them you love them. #BearHugsAndGratitude #100PercentPreventable #ChoicesMatter."

Planned Card Layout And Bell Times For SummerSlam Released

Johnson is currently continuing to promote his latest move, Hercules, which is in theatres everywhere and had a huge opening weekend upon its release.

Johnson, who last appeared for the WWE at WrestleMania XXX alongside WWE Hall of Famers Hulk Hogan and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in April, recently told CBS Cleveland that he is open to a return to the squared circle for another match.

"It's all of the above," Johnson told the affiliate when asked whether he wants to have one more match or an extended stay. "The one match three or four years ago that I started talking about with Vince [McMahon] then turned into a three year run. So who knows? I would love to go back and figure it out."

While the details of the crash are mostly unknown, Johnson is grateful his family survived a horrifying incident.
