In the latest-and perhaps most glaring-sign that Kevin Love is on his way out of Minnesota, Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor has told a local newspaper that a deal for the All-Star is likely to happen late this month.

"I'm saying it's most likely because Kevin has made it pretty clear that that's what he wants to do," Taylor told the Pioneer Press. According to the newspaper, the Wolves owner said the deal may happen on August 23 or 24.

Taylor added: "I think when you move somebody like Kevin, who's been an all-star, that you've got to get a number of players on your team that have the potential of replacing him. Flip(Saunders, Wolves president) has looked at this team and offensively, he's got a pretty good team. Defensively, it's got to be better, so I think that's where some of the areas will be replaced."

As ESPN.com is speculating, August 23 is also the first day that Cavaliers top rookie Andrew Wiggins is eligible to be traded after signing a deal with the Cavs.

Earlier this week, ESPN.com also reported that the Cavaliers have offered Wiggins along with last year's top pick Anthony Bennett and a future first round pick for Love. The report also stated that the transaction is regarded as a 'when' and not just 'if.'

It's been widely believed around the league that the Cavs are willing to trade away a potential franchise star in Wiggins for the chance to nab a double-double machine in Love, who can form a lethal Big Three with four-time MVP LeBron James and All-Star guard Kyrie Irving.
