Once a cheater, always a cheater. So says Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Cary Williams about the New England Patriots.

Rex Ryan: Jets aren't concerned with the Patriots, but Patriots should be concerned with Jets

As the Eagles and Patriots get ready to practice together from Aug. 12-14 at the Patriots' practice facility, the outspoken Williams told Philly.com that he's not exactly going to enjoy the interaction with the AFC rival.

"They are cheaters," he told Philly.com, a reference to the "Spygate" scandal from 2007. "I give them all the credit in the world, but one fact remains: They haven't won a Super Bowl since they got caught,"

According to the report, Williams' disdain comes from his time as a member of the Baltimore Ravens from the middle of the 2009-2012 before coming to the Eagles in 2013.

Williams argued that the Eagles and Patriots are set to play an exhibition game in the preseason, so he doesn't see the need for the team to spend extra time on the field together.

"To me, it's not benefiting us, because they've already proven who they are," Williams said. "That's their history. I don't like them, not only because of that. I just don't like them."

Philly.com added that Williams was kicked out of a preseason practice last season after fighting with New England wide receiver Aaron Dobson, when the teams also were practicing together. Williams told Philly.com he took issue with some of the things that the Patriots were doing at last year's practice.

"I know it's going to be the same thing this year," Williams said. "... I just want to go out to camp, play camp, and then we [play] so and so, the itch is back. They're going to get coached up on certain things. You can't show your cards in certain things."
