The biggest decision LeBron James has made this year is to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers, but he has another huge decision to make very soon. Will James wear his old No. 23 jersey upon his return or will he don the No. 6 he made famous in Miami?
James has been with the team for a week now and says he still hasn't decided what jersey he is going to wear for his second stint in Cleveland. James even took to Twitter and posted the question.
According to ESPN, James is considering all options and hasn't ruled out wearing the No. 32 as well. James wore No. 32 as a freshman in high school when the No. 23 was unavailable. James waiting to decide on a number also influences the company that creates them as they can’t take any orders that come in.
“James taking his time means that retailers have to wait on all the orders they've received since last Saturday, when pre-orders for replica jerseys started at $69.99 each. Since then, the Cleveland Cavaliers have offered fans a replica youth jersey ($49), a swingman jersey ($99) and the authentic jersey ($300).”
In 2010, James spoke about the No. 23 and said they he believes it should be retired throughout the league as a tribute to Michael Jordan. James has led jersey sales in six of the 11 seasons he has been in the NBA and expect that to increase when he does come to a decision.
