The Cleveland Cavaliers have stated that they are not interested in including No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins in any trade involving Minnesota Timberwolves Kevin Love, but they may have changed their minds. New reports out of Cleveland are that the Cavs are now "willing" to include Wiggins if it means they receive Love.

Bob Finnan of The Morning Journal & The News-Herald reports that the Cavaliers' sudden change of heart is a direct result of LeBron James. According to Finnan, LeBron wants to play with Love and that makes Wiggins expendable.

“Rumors have surfaced that the Cavaliers wouldn’t include rookie swingman Andrew Wiggins in any possible deal for the Minnesota Timberwolves’ star.

A league source said on July 17 that the Cavs are now willing to trade the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 draft.

Up until this point, it was assumed the Cavs wanted to hang onto Wiggins, largely because of comments made by Coach David Blatt.

However, a source said James wants the 6-10, 250-pound Love on the roster.
And, what James wants, he normally gets.”

This news comes shortly after Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor said he expects Love to attend training camp and to be on the roster come season’s start. Other reports are that Cavaliers want the Golden State Warriors to be the third team involved in a trade. That trade would give the Warriors multiple first round picks, the T-Wolves receive Klay and Tristan Thompson and the Cavaliers receive Love.

With the Cavaliers budging on Wiggins, it seems that Cleveland has become the favorite to land Love. Look for the Cavaliers to look into every possibility in the book to acquire Love while still holding onto Wiggins.
