Triple H sat down with Michael Cole for another kayfabe interview, and he spoke about the possibility of Steve "Sting" Borden wrestling for the WWE sometime in the future.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Discusses Possible WWE Return, LeBron James

"The Game" discussed the possibility of Sting joining the company to wrestle after it was revealed he'll be a playable character if fans pre-order the WWE 2K15 video game that comes out in October. Triple H brought up Bruno Sammartino and The Ultimate Warrior as examples that anything can happen amid rumors that Sting may compete at WrestleMania 31 next March.

"There's been a lot of speculation over the years," Triple H said. "Then again, over the years I heard that Bruno Sammartino would never be part of the WWE again. I heard for years that The Ultimate Warrior would never be part of the WWE again. I've also heard that Sting would never ever be part of the WWE. If there's one thing I've learned over the years, never say never if it's best for business."

Sting Discusses Possibly Having WWE Match

Triple H also discussed Sting's involvement with the WWE 2K15 video game.

"Sting, one of the biggest legends in the history of the industry finally in a WWE video game," Triple H said. "Where you have the opportunity to see what you've probably wanted to see for the last 20 years. That is Sting against Stone Cold Steve Austin. Sting against The Rock. Sting against The Undertaker, Sting against Triple H, Sting against every legend that there has ever been in this business. It doesn't get any better than that."

Cole asked Triple H about Battleground this Sunday at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Florida which is headlined by WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena taking on Randy Orton, Roman Reigns and Kane in a Fatal 4 Way for the title.

Triple H discussed his "Plan B" of Seth Rollins as well as Paul Heyman coming up and talking about a "Plan C," which is likely to be Brock Lesnar.

"Well you know, things aren't always what they seem," Triple H said. "You know, like I said at the end of the day I just want stability back to the WWE. I want the correct face of the WWE to be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. I have a plan to get there. I know what that plan is. And whether Randy Orton knows what it is or Kane, or Seth Rollins or even Paul Heyman, I'm the one that needs to know. And trust me, I'm the one that will ensure that the job gets done."

Cole asked Triple H to predict what will happen in the main event.

"My prediction? On Sunday the person that I want to be the face of the WWE will walk out as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion," he said.

"The Game" also addressed the singles match that will pit Rollins against Dean Ambrose in a high-profile match on the card.

"Dean Ambrose took a hell of a beating on Monday night," Triple H said. "I mean I'll give him all the credit in the world to look up at Kane, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins and say, 'is that all you got,' unfortunately for Dean Ambrose that wasn't all they had."

WWE Battleground will take place Sunday night live from the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Florida.
