Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll is fresh off a Super Bowl victory and now he will be honored again as a member of USC’s Hall of Fame Class of 2015.

USC made the class official on Monday as they announced their full 16 person class that will be honored at halftime of USC's game against Oregon State on September 27 at Los Angeles Coliseum.

Some of the USC faithful have mixed feelings toward Carroll due to the timing of his jump to the NFL. Carroll left USC in 2009 and many believe the biggest factor in his decision was that the school was about to be hit with NCAA sanctions. The sanctions stemmed from student athletes receiving gifts from agents and forfeiting their amateur status.

Carroll has maintained that the sanctions had nothing to do with his decision to leave for the NFL and has nothing but nice things to say about the school and it’s personnel. Carroll owned a 97-19 overall record while at USC which was good enough to earn him two national championships (2003 and 2004) and seven consecutive Pac-10 titles (2002-08).

Joining Carroll in the Class of 2015 is football and baseball coach Jack Del Rio, baseball player Mark Prior and golfer Jennifer Rosales.
