Brazil had the opportunity to open the group stages of the 2014 World Cup. Now, the team will have the honor of doing the same for the Round of 16. Excitement is filling the air in Brazil. Its intoxicating smell has influenced all citizens, especially the members of the Selecao.

"Playing and scoring in the Seleção shirt in a World Cup, at home...well, there are so many things that go through your head," midfielder Fernandinho said, struggling for words as he recalled his tournament debut (via FIFA). "One of the biggest things for me was the excitement my family and friends were feeling at that moment. They were probably more excited than I was."

"I went back to the hotel, had a bath and tried to stay focused, while my family were at home getting congratulatory messages from everyone," he added. "I'm sure they felt more excited about the whole thing than me, but I was delighted to make them that happy."

Tactical Preview

Player to Watch: Stymying the dynamic runs from Neymar on the left will be the sole responsibility of Chile's Mauricio Isla. The 26-year-old made all three starts in the group stage, averaging 1.7 tackles per match, but perhaps of more importance, has not had an opponent dribble by him in 270 minutes.

Brazil's Projected Lineup (4-2-3-1): Cesar; Marcelo, Luiz, Silva, Alves; Gustavo, Fernandinho; Neymar, Oscar, Hulk; Fred

Chile's Projected Lineup (3-4-3): Bravo; Silva, Medel, Jara; Mena, Diaz, Aranguiz, Isla; Vargas, Vidal, Sanchez
