Miami Heat president Pat Riley told ESPN on Thursday while angry about "the lack of perspective" about his team he is committeed to retaining the Big 3 core of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh that has advanced to the last four NBA titles and previously claimed back-to-back NBA titles.

According to ESPN. Riley held his season-ending news conference on Thursday, immediately seeming to agree with James' pre-finals assessement against the San Antonio Spurs that the Heat "feel slighted" by the way they are treated given all their recent accomplishments.

Pat Riley wants Heat core back

"I think all those guys that have come here have got exactly what they wanted," said Riley. "And we hope that all those guys want to come with us. What cements a forever-bond is going through what we went through this season and staying the course."

Whether to now stay the course or completely rebuild seems one of the Heat's most major concerns. Four-time league MVP James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh can all become free agents this summer and Shane Battier has already announced his retirement while Ray Allen is still rumored to be mulling options.

Greg Oden signs with Heat

"You got to deal with it," said Riley. "You've got to come back. This stuff is hard, and you've got to stay together if you've got the guts. And you don't find the first door and run out of it. We need to retool. We don't need to rebuild. But everybody get a grip. It's been a great run."
