After the 5-1 debacle against Holland, Spain returns to the pitch on Wednesday with hopes of salvaging its World Cup campaign. The defending champions visit Rio de Janeiro with the knowledge that a victory will be needed to stave off elimination. Midfielder Andres Iniesta has every intention of preparing his men for battle.

"Chile are a difficult team because we'll have to defend and we'll have to fight one against one," he said (via FIFA). "We just hope those who play tomorrow [Wednesday] will be able to escape from their markers, so we can find a way to win. We must be able to make the right passes and look for those in space, so we can score goals."

"Sometimes, we'll have to be faster. Other times, we'll have to control the ball. But we'll just play it as a final because only in that way will we be able to win against Chile," he added. "Our only goal right now is winning, so we can go to the next phase."

"But we trust ourselves and we're well equipped for that."

Tactical Preview

Player to Watch: Chile's Alexis Sanchez proved to be every bit the nuisance the opposition knows him to be against Australia. The 25-year-old was responsible for one goal and an assist in Chile's 3-1 victory. His familiarity with the Spanish style will make him an even greater threat on Wednesday.

Spain's Projected Lineup (4-3-3): Casillas; Alba, Ramos, Martinez, Azpilicueta; Alonso, Busquets, Koke; Iniesta, Costa, Pedro

Chile's Projected Lineup (4-3-3): Bravo; Mena, Medel, Jara, Isla; Aranguiz, Diaz, Vidal; Sanchez, Valdivia, Vargas
