The woman who alleged she was sexually assaulted by San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has filed a complaint against the Miami Police Department after investigators declined to pursue charges against the NFL star.

According to TMZ Sports, Jayniece Prichette claims "corrupt" cops tampered with evidence in the case, leading to no charges being brought against the 26-year-old Kaepernick. The website adds in her formal complaint that Prichette alleges "all the North Miami Police Department" possibly tampered "with my toxicology rape kit evidence."

Colin Kaepernick investigated for sex assault

Police announced earlier this month no charges would be filed against Kaepernick after Priichette charged she spent a night with him and fellow NFL players Ricardo Lockette and Quinton Patton drinking and smoking marijuana before awakening to find herself in a hospital emergency room.

More recently, the Miami-Dade Police Department reported it found no sign that a crime occurred and the rape kit investigation also found no evidence of one, prompting Pritchette to argue "police treated me like I was a suspect and not a victim."

Colin Kaepernick legal troubles mount

Kaepernick maintained his innocence throughout the investigation and the Niners recently moved to sign him to a six-year, $126 million contract extension.

"As I said from day one, I would never do the things that were made up about me," Kaeperncik told reporters of the allegations. "I'm glad this issue is resolved. It's time for football."

Kaepernick passed for 3,197 yards and 21 touchdowns last season in leading the 49ers to the NFC Championship Game.
