He's the man that helped get them there. Unfortunately, Radamel Falcao won't be on the pitch this afternoon to aid his nation's cause in Brazil. He will, however, cheer his "family" from the stands.

"This is a real group, it's a family. [On Saturday] you will see that Falcao and Perea will be there with the team when they could be on holidays," said national team head coach Jose Pekerman (via FIFA). "It's always been a very united group, a family, and we deal with problems like a family. We're not talking about injuries anymore, we're talking about players. I really believe in this team, and from here on in, we're working on every situation we could come across on the pitch," he added.

Pekerman did, however, admit he would still prefer to have Falcao on the pitch. "What team that is here wouldn't want Falcao as their center-forward? That's obvious, but we want to look forward."

Tactical Preview

Player to Watch: A change of scenery worked against Greece's Kostas Mitroglou last season. After scoring an impressive 13 league goals for Olympiakos, a transfer to Fulham saw the 26-year-old finish the season scoreless and relegated to England's second division. With his club form behind him, Mitroglou will now turn to his national team for a boost in confidence.

Colombia's Projected Lineup (4-2-2-2): Ospina; Zúñiga, Yepes, Zapata, Armero; Sánchez, Aguilar; Ibarbo, Cuadrado, James; Teófilo

Greece's Projected Lineup (4-3-3): Karnezis; Holebas, Manolas, Sokratis, Torosidis; Samaras, Tziolis, Maniatis, Karagounis, Salpingidis; Mitroglou
