Kevin Love refused to say what everyone else already knows on Wednesday. "My agent is handling everything at this point," Love told ESPN of swirling rumors he wants out of Minnesota and is essentially trying to force the team into dealing him.

"I'm hoping that everything works out for all the parties involved," he added. "No matter what the outcome is, I just want to end up in a great place where I can win. At the end of the day, I've played six years, haven't made the playoffs yet, that burns me and hurts my heart, so I really want to be playing."

The 25-year-old Love's comments were his first since the season ended and since team president Flip Saunders announced he plans to also take over as coach of the team next season.

Kevin Love to Knicks rumors

Earlier this week, Saunders took his All-Star forward to task, telling a Minneapolis radio station Love "didn't have a right" to be frustrated. He later added "why does any player have a right to be frustrated? You're either part of the problem or part of the solution. I don't think any one individual should be frustrated."

During his ESPN interview, Love felt compelled to respond to his boss.

"Flip's a great guy," he said. "He was great for us last year when Rick Adelman was the coach, bringing us all together. It was his first time back with the team, and now he's taking over the coaching reins, and I congratulated him, talking with him, back and forth, and when he says something like that, same as when Ricky [Rubio} talked about me being a leader, I just continue to work hard, keep on the grind, and use some of it as fuel ... but what they said, it holds true, some of it."

Love admitted he wouldn't be opposed to joining the Knicks and Phil Jackson. "I think any time you have Phil Jackson involved in any organization, you're going to definitely look at it and it's definitely intriguing," he said. "The Knicks are definitely a place where anybody would like to go."
