Two clubs in the Western Conference of MLS will do battle today in a league match between the Portland Timbers and FC Dallas. The first-division clash scheduled for 10 p.m. ET will be held at Providence Park in Portland and can be live streamed here free.
After a grueling stretch, one that saw the club finish eight consecutive matches without a victory, FC Dallas finally returned to the win column on Saturday. The 3-2 victory over the Colorado Rapids put the club back on track. Now, head coach Oscar Pareja is looking for a result against the Timbers to enter the World Cup break on a high note.
"It was a really long stretch and the struggle, the adversity, the red cards; all those things have been frustrating. Since they have not stopped working, the game rewarded them with three points before the break and gives us the momentum to go to Portland and fight," said Pareja (via MLS's official website). "We're trying to get people healthy to try to fight the second half of the season with a complete roster," he added.

Player to Watch: The acquisition of Fanendo Adi has been a revelation for the Timbers. Since acquiring him on loan, the 23-year-old has made five appearances for the club, contributing four goals and two assists.
