TWINS vs BLUE JAYS Watch FREE Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from TORONTO

Today at 12:37 p.m. ET, the Minnesota Twins (30-33) and Toronto Blue Jays (39-27) take the field at Rogers Centre for the rubber match of a three-game set. The game can be live streamed for free here. Minnesota fans can hear all of the action on 96.3 K-Twin while Toronto fans can do the same on SN590.

Minnesota looks for its second straight win in the third contest of a three-game road trip while Toronto hopes for a series win and to close out its homestand at 3-3. The Blue Jays won the first game 5-4 on Monday before the Twins blanked them 4-0 Tuesday to put the series win on the line this afternoon.

Phil Hughes (6-2, 3.46 ERA) takes the ball for Minnesota while Toronto counters with Marcus Stroman, who is 3-0 with a 5.40 ERA.

Stroman is coming off of the heels of two quality outings and relishes coming through for his team.

"It's been special," Stroman told MLB.com. "It's just awesome to put my team in a position to win the two times I have been out there."

Hughes is coming off of an outing where his streak of eight quality starts was snapped after he gave up five runs on six hits and three homers.

"I didn't have my best fastball," Hughes said via MLB.com. "I just wasn't making adjustments the way I have before. I didn't recognize it early enough to make some better pitches with the two-seamer or the cutter. I tried to generate some extra velocity and came out of my mechanics a little bit and just left some balls over the plate."

Kendrys Morales signed with the Twins on Sunday and is 3-for-8 with a walk since making his debut on Monday night.

Minnesota third baseman Trevor Plouffe is first in the American League with 22 doubles while second baseman Brian Dozier leads the MLB in runs (54) and is tied for third in the AL in walks (31).

Toronto designated-hitter Edwin Encarnacion is second in the AL with 20 homers and 53 RBIs while ranking fourth in slugging percentage (.592) and fifth in OPS (.947). Outfielder Jose Bautista ranks first in the AL in on-base percentage (.433), and third in slugging (.978) and runs scored (49) while ranking first overall with 51 walks.

Blue Jays outfielder Melky Cabrera has 83 hits this season, ranking him third in the AL.

The Twins and Blue Jays finish up their three-game series this afternoon when they take the field at Rogers Centre in Toronto.
