The debate over who will be the overall top pick in this month's NBA draft continues to rage, but at least one of the leading candidates seems to have settled on where he would most like to land.

Kansas star Andrew Wiggins prefers the Philadelphia 76ers to any of the other teams with picks high enough in the lottery to land him, according to RealGM.com.

Andrew Wiggins' stock on the rise?

In fact, the website added the Sixers have contacted the Cleveland Cavaliers about perhaps working out a deal for the top pick, which the team would then use on Wiggins, regarded as one of the draft class' best athlete. Currently, the Sixers own both the No. 3 and No. 10 picks in the first round.

According to RealGM, while the Sixers aren't inclined to offer both their top picks for a chance to move up to No.1, they may be open to dealing a package of the No. 3 pick and veteran forward Thaddeus Young for that chance.

Andrew Wiggins to Rock Nation?

The son of former NBA player Mitchell Wiggins, the 6-foot-8, 200 pound Wiggins headlines a draft class that also includes such underclassmen as Jabari Parker, Joel Embiid, Julius Randle, Aaron Gordon and Tyler Ennis.

In his one season at Kansas, Wiggins averaged 17 points and six rebounds, connecting on 34 percent of all his three-point attempts. The 19-year-old freshman was also selected as one of the Top 10 semifinalist for the James Naismith College Player of the Year Award.
