Duke standout Jabari Parker, a consensus top-three prospect for the June 26 NBA Draft, won't have any problems playing in Milwaukee.

This according to his father Sonny and former college teammate Rodney Hood.

Journal Times quoted Hood as saying: "Jabari just wants to play ball. He won't have any issues about playing in Milwaukee, not at all. And, if he went to Milwaukee, it would only be a short distance away from his home, which would be good. He'd be fine with that.''

His father, Sonny, is a resident of Chicago and says the close proximity of Milwaukee to the Windy City should make it appealing for Jabari to play for the Bucks. The elder Parker is a former NBA player himself, selected 17th overall in the 1976 NBA draft and played for six seasons in Golden State.

He added: "Jabari just wants to play and do whatever it takes to help his team win. So, no, he wouldn't mind playing in Milwaukee and that's the truth.''

Parker is projected by many experts to be drafted either as the second or third pick. The Cavaliers own the first pick, followed by the Bucks and the Philadelphia 76ers.

Hood, himself projected to be a lottery pick, believes that Parker is not concerned about playing in a small market like Milwaukee. He said of his former teammate: "He's committed to being a great player. He wants to be a great player.''

The 6-foot-9 Parker averaged 19 points and 8.7 rebounds last season for Duke, making him one of the best all-around talents in this year's draft.
