Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love, the All-Star who has never been to the playoffs in his six years in the league, does not have the right to be frustrated with his team's lack of success, according to his new coach Flip Saunders.

The new Minnesota coach shared his thoughts on the Wolves' 10-year playoff drought and how it has affected Love, saying the latter has no right to be frustrated with the way things have turned out in Minny.

In an interview with KFAN 100.3 as quoted by ESPN.com, Saunders said: "Just like I told Garnett, he didn't have a right to be frustrated. Why does any player have a right to be frustrated? You're either part of the problem or part of the solution."

He continued: "Should the team be frustrated? Yeah, the team can be frustrated. But I don't think any one individual should be frustrated."

Saunders went on to share a story in which a frustrated Garnett was admonished by teammate Sam Mitchell after the Big Ticket demanded that the team and his teammates do more. Mitchell reportedly told Garnett: "Hey, hold it, hold it. Let me tell you something. You're making all the money. Hey, it's your responsibility. You make the money, you've got to live up to that.' So, that was the mentality, and from that time, KG never ever from that point, he always took responsibility."

It remains to be seen how Saunders' comments will affect Love's rumored plan to leave Minnesota next year as an unrestricted free agent. Love has reportedly told management to trade him or risk losing him to free agency without getting anyone in return next summer.
