LeBron James is warning the San Antonio Spurs to be careful what they ask for.

After knocking off Oklahoma City in the Western Conference Finals, the Spurs, spoke about how elated they are to have another shot at a Heat team that rallied from a 3-2 deficit, including a dramatic comeback in Game 6, to claim the second of their back-to-back titles last season.

LeBron James to launch acting career

"They wanted us, they got us," James told CBSSports.com. "They don't like us. I can sense that from Tim's comments the past couple days."

Adding yet another layer to the plot is the fact for the first time since maybe he landed in South Beach to form the Big 3 with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, James and the Heat find themselves underdogs in a series.

LeBron James wants longer All-Star Game break

If the Eastern Conference Finals series against the hated Pacers is any indication, James and Wade more than likely will find a way to use that added emotion as fuel in imposing their will.

Prior to the start of that series, Lance Stephenson boasted of how he planned to run Wade's chronically bad knees into the ground and during the series he dared to engage James in an ongoing trash-talking battle that proved to have bad consequences for the Pacers.

In declaring "we wanted Miami" Duncan's words are hardly on par with some of the vitriol spewed by Stephenson, but motivation is motivation and in their quest for history the Heat will assuredly take any way edge they can get.
