Miami Heat's LeBron James is humbled by him being compared to Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan, with Indiana Pacers coach Frank Vogel the latest to compare the two after the Heat eliminated the Pacers in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

"It's bitterly disappointing to lose to this team three years in a row, but we're competing against the Michael Jordan of our era, the Chicago Bulls of our era," Vogel told reporters after his Pacers fell to the Heat, 117-92.

When he heard Vogel's statements, James quipped as quoted by USA Today: "Any time I hear my name or our team in the same breath with legends and great teams and franchises, it's so humbling. It's like - I really don't know."

James has always been honest about his admiration for Jordan, saying that he and teammate Dwyane Wade are big fans of the Bulls legend.

He continued: "To be able to play the game that we love at a high level for one another, for our teammates, it's the ultimate. When you hear the comparisons, you respect it. You're humbled by it."

Of course, many may have dissenting opinions especially those who think that James will never Jordan's equal given that the former has lost in two Finals as against the Bulls legend's 6-0 record in the championship round.

Still, James relishes the comparisons saying: "You just feel like while you're in the moment hopefully, while you're playing the game, that you can make an impact enough to where you move on and people will start comparing you to ones that's in the game at the present time."
