Matt Barkley has had a fall from grace ever since being the golden boy at USC, but he got a little piece of redemption when being insulted on Twitter by a UCLA fan page.

In light of the abomination that was Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson’s first pitch at the New York Mets and Pittsburgh Pirates game, an unofficial UCLA fan page took to Twitter to get an easy jab in on Barkley.

Don’t get me wrong, that's a great joke and I got a solid laugh out of it. Barkley fired back soon after with a jab at all of Bruin nation that instantly won him, not only the argument, but a place in the Twitter hall of fame.

Game. Set. Barkley as he crushes any and all chance of a response that could top that. Barkley is currently the third string quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles and is entering his second year in the NFL. Barkley’s career has not been what we all thought it would be when he declared to USC in 2008 but ,for the briefest of moments, it must have felt good to crush the Bruins one more time.
