Aaron Hernandez tats hold clues in murder case?

Prosecutors allege that Hernandez, 24, shot and killed Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado. Hernandez allegedly followed the victims in his SUV after an altercation at a Boston nightclub on July 15, 2012.

Hernandez became upset when a dancing de Abreu bumped into him, causing the drink Hernandez was holding to spill.

No words were exchanged between the men, but an angry Hernandez told a friend that [de Abreu] was 'testing' or 'disrespecting' him, like others had done while he was at the nightclub, prosecutors said during the arraignment, BostonGlobe.com reported.

As time passed, Hernandez's anger never diminished and he trailed the men when they left the club. When the vehicle de Abreu and Furtado were riding in stopped at a red light, Hernandez pulled alongside it and fire several shots from his 38-caliber pistol in their direction.

A third person was injured during the shooting.

Hernandez, who also faces charges in the 2013 slaying of semi-professional football player Odin Lloyd, sat straight-faced in the Massachusetts Suffolk Superior Court while prosecutors at the arraignment described a scenario in which Hernandez and a friend followed from a nightclub in an SUV and shot them after pulling up to a red light. Hernandez is then accused of fleeing the scene to an address in Hartford, Conn., where he exchanged vehicles with the help of his cousin.

The former Florida star is already being held without bail and confined to solitary confinement at the Bristol County Jail on first degree murder charges in the execution-style shooting death of former associate Odin Lloyd.

Lloyd's bullet-riddled body was found less than a mile from Hernandez's North Attleborough mansion in June of 2013. Police speculate Lloyd may have been killed because of his knowledge of other violent crimes Hernandez is suspected of being involved in.

Carlos Ortiz won't testify against Aaron Hernandez

On Tuesday, Carlos Ortiz, a lifelong friend of Hernandez, was also arraigned on murder charges related to the Lloyd killing. Several media outlets have reported Ortiz initially told police he, Hernandez, Lloyd and Ernest Wallace were all riding together that night when the three others got out of the car and Lloyd never returned.

Since being incarcerated, Hernandez has also been charged with threatening to kill a jail guard and his family and was briefly held in an even more secluded area of the jail after savagely attacking another prisoner while handcuffed.
