NFL organized team activities are in full swing and the voluntary practices have claimed their first major name of the season. Dallas Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee had to be helped to the locker room after suffering what looked like a lower body injury in practice.
Lee was injured when he was taken to the ground on a block from first round pick Zack Martin. When healthy, Lee is the best player on the Dallas defense and he was expected to pick up much of the slack that DeMarcus Ware left when he left for Denver.
The extent of Lee’s injury is unknown, but he has had a knack for missing time ever since becoming a starter for Dallas in 2011. Lee is coming off a season where he missed five games due to injury and missed 10 the season before that.
Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett is expected to address the injury when he has his media session after the team's practice. Stay tuned for updates.
