The Chicago Blackhawks find themselves in a position they aren’t accustomed to. They are in a 2-1 hole and looking for answers at goalie. What can Chicago do to get the best out of goalie Corey Crawford?

Crawford is single handedly destroying the Blackhawks season and the Kings are taking full advantage of his follies. Even before this series Crawford was not at the top of his game, but the Blackhawks have ben able to pick him up with their offense.

Dave Lozo, of Bleacher Report, believes their Crawford’s game will completely derail the Blackhawks chances at claiming another Stanley Cup.

In Games 1 and 2 against the St. Louis Blues, Crawford allowed eight goals in two losses. He was beaten late in the third period of each game to force overtime, and in Game 2 allowed a dubious goal to Barrett Jackman to give the Blues a win.

In Games 3 and 4 against the Minnesota Wild, he was beaten seven times on 48 shots in a pair of road defeats. Again, there were questionable goals allowed that hurt the Blackhawks.

In each series, the Blackhawks overcame those performances and found a way to win four games.

The Blackhawks have plenty of time to come back in this series, but when does backup goalie Antti Raanta get the nod to be the saving grace in Chicago? Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals is Monday at 9:00 PM EST as the Blackhawks look to even up the series at two Los Angeles.
