Tim Tebow may be out of the NFL, but the deeply religious former Heisman Trophy winner remains grateful for all his blessings.

"Where does my help come from," Tebow recently posted on social media. "My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. So humbled that the Son of God would give His life for you and me. We have hope because He lives."

Tim Tebow joins ESPN

Tebow last played in the NFL with the Jets in 2012, but the now 26-year-old former Florida star remains far from idle. Tebow recently announced he was funding the building of a hospital near his Philippine homeland through his foundation and earlier this month was on hand for a Fellowship of Christian Athlete convention where he espoused upon attendees "the life-changing message of Jesus Christ."

In all, Tebow has thus far played three NFL seasons, his best coming with Denver in 2011 when he passed for 1,729 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Tim Tebow still inspiring

As he waits for a chance to revive his NFL career, Tebow recently signed on as the face of ESPN's new SEC Network, though it is rumored his contract has an out clause that will allow him to walk if and when an NFL team should come calling.

Tebow recently told reporters of his still evolving skills "I'm the best I've ever been. We went back to the beginning. We worked on the basics. 'm looking forward to an opportunity to share that."
