In his latest blog entry, WWE Hall of Famer talked about the recent WWE stock price drop based on their new TV deal with NBC/Universal, future podcast guests including Bill Goldberg, airing SmackDown live on Tuesday nights and more.

Jim Ross on WWE Stock Price Drop and Where WWE can Go From Here:

"Many financial outlets writing gloom and doom for WWE after the announcement of WWE's new rights fees deal with NBC/Universal which essentially keeps WWE on USA and SyFy for the next few years. The new rights fee was less than expected/predicted but I can certainly see light at the end of the tunnel. The key driver is to earn more fans and develop regular consumers of their core product. How is that done?"

Ross explains that the key to earning more fans is to develop new stars across WWE programming and give them the chance to get hot with fans. While that process takes time, Ross knows it's possible.

He then adds, "For the long haul and as the stock continues to descend likely for the next few days, I'm thinking that for many investors that the WWE stock is a viable consideration to invest in and that's if one is a long term investor. I'm no stock analyst but I do think that the stock will rebound in time without question."

Jim Ross on Airing SmackDown Live on Tuesday Nights:

"Personally I think that Smackdown is best aired live on Tuesday night which fits the WWE production model because live TV, to me, is a better watch than a taped program that is talked to death all week online and via various social media outlets."

CB's Analysis: As much as we love SmackDown spoilers, airing the show live on Tuesday nights would be great to see. The only problem is that on PPV weekends you will have three straight nights of pro wrestling to digest, which would span 8-plus hours of viewing. Also, you have to consider viewing habits of fans who currently look for SmackDown on Friday nights and may be too busy with other TV shows on Tuesdays. That being said, I'd still personally love for SmackDown to go live and stay live.

Jim Ross on Upcoming Podcast Guests including Bill Goldberg:

"Upcoming guests on the Ross Report Podcast, that you can download for free at podcastone.com, include HBK, Pt 2 now, Bill Goldberg next week, ESPN's Michelle Beadle, Eric Bischoff, Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, MVP, Lance Storm, Kurt Angle, Bubba Dudley aka Bully Ray, Sting, AJ Styles and Tony Schiavone. More talents are added to the list on a regular basis. I have some interesting guests that we are currently scheduling that I will be announcing soon."

Kurt Angle Injury: #MyComeback YouTube Series; WWE Return Teased?

CB's Analysis: The Goldberg interview is a nice follow-up to the attention-getting Shawn Michaels' podcasts Ross did over the past two weeks. I'd also love to hear what Kurt Angle and Bully Ray have to say when given the platform that JR provides.

Oh, and Goldberg: "YOU'RE NEXT!"
