With a roster filled with such young talent as Kyrie Irving, Dion Waiters, Tristan Thompson and Anthony Bennett, you would think the Cleveland Cavaliers wouldn't have much trouble in securing a coach eager to lead them.

Think again.

Dan Gilbert has no regrets about ripping LeBron

The New York Daily News reports coaches are avoiding the Cavs' opening like the plague and it all stems from owner Dan Gilbert's meddling ways. Since announcing the firing of veteran coach Mike Brown after just one season earlier this month, the Cavs have already been turned down by Connecticut's Kevin Ollie as a possible successor.

Ollie, fresh off of leading UConn to the national title, was seen as the perfect fit for young, All-Star guard Irving, who himself is pondering whether he wants to stick around with the franchise as his free agent season approaches. Other media outlets have also reported recently hired Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr instantly declined even talking with the Cavs about their opening after the team contacted his representatives.

Kyrie Irving leaving Cleveland?

And the reason why all seems to fall on Gilbert, still infamous for the way he ripped native son LeBron James after he decided to bolt the Cavs for South Beach after the 2010 season.

The News adds in NBA circles, Gilbert is known as a "non-stop screamer" who on the day he canned Brown announced that David Griffin was being elevated to the status of permanent team GM, only to already be stripped of all power and influence.

"It's the Dan Gilbert Show," The News reports.
