NBA veteran Lamar Odom is denying stalking estranged wife Khloe Kardashian and a source close to him now insists it was her who recently invited to him a club where she and new boyfriend French Montana were partying, all in hopes of increasing ratings for the her family's suddenly struggling reality TV show.

The recently signed New York Knicks forward and bad boy rapper French Montana, Kardashian's rumored new beau, nearly came face-to-face at Hollywood nightspot Penthouse earlier this week before club security stepped in to deny Odom entry into the club over fears of what it may lead to.

Lamar stalking Khloe?

"It was actually Khloe who invited Lamar to the club because she knew the E! cameras were going to be there," a source told Yahoo!, hinting Odom's camp now believes the footage will be used in an upcoming Keeping Up With The Kardashians episode.

"She totally set him up," the source added. "She wanted it to look like he was stalking her on camera. He knew French was going to be there, but Khloe asked him to come and he went. He feels like an idiot for trusting her."

Lamar, Khloe finally over?

Citing irreconcilable differences, Kardashian filed for divorce last December and recently began complaining about his stalking tendencies, though after the Penthouse incident she instantly took to Twitter to post the message "still hurts. Maybe it always will."

After initially vowing to win his wife back, more recently the 34-year-old Odom has focussed on reviving his NBA career, recently inking his deal with Phil Jackson and the Knicks.
