Real Madrid Transfer News: Liverpool Rejects Bid For Luis Suarez, Juventus Will Consider Selling Arturo Vidal?

The pulse of the 2013-14 season has not yet flatlined, but bolstering for next year is always a fluid process, especially for a club the likes of Real Madrid. Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting (via Goal) that Italian outfit Juventus is keen on keeping midfielder Paul Pogba, but the club is open to selling Arturo Vidal. Barcelona and Real Madrid are rumored to be admirers of the Chilean.

Paul Pogba Extending With Juventus, Not Joining Real Madrid?

Barcelona's Alexis Sanchez and Real Madrid's Alvaro Morata could be used for either club to complete the deal.

The 26-year-old was named to the 30-man provisional roster for the Chilean national team ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, but doubts linger. Vidal underwent knee surgery and is now in a race against time, hoping to recover before the competition. His 18 goals and five assists for the reigning Serie A champion would be sorely missed should he not be able to.

Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez Will Bring A Lot of Goals To Madrid?

Vidal, however, isn't Madrid's No. 1 priority.

CaughtOffside is reporting Los Merengues have already made Liverpool an offer for striker Luis Suarez. The bid—which currently carries an unknown price—was rejected. Madrid is expected to return with another.

Earlier reports carried a potential £70 million offer. If that wasn't enough for Liverpool, Real Madrid will have to prepare for another expensive purchase—one greater than the one made in 2013 for Gareth Bale ($132 million).

The club will face Atletico Madrid on May 24 in the UEFA Champions League final. Winning that illustrious 10th European cup remains the priority, but an 11th will follow should Vidal and Suarez ultimately find their way to the Spanish capital.
