Two clubs chasing Copa Libertadores glory will do battle today in a cup match between Club Nacional and Arsenal. The quarterfinal clash scheduled for 6:45 p.m. ET will be held at the Estadio Arsenio Erico in Asuncion and can be live streamed here free.
Club Nacional advanced to the quarterfinals after defeating Velez Sarsfield 3-2 on aggregate in the Round of 16. A stoppage-time goal from midfielder Derlis Orué ensured the Paraguayan outfit moved on in the tournament. That in itself is a tremendous achievement according to manager Gustavo Morinigo (h/t to Crónica). "We're working toward a dream," Morinigo said.
"And it's not just the dream of the players and the staff. It's also the dream of our fans and all the people that supported us and continue to support us," he added.
"We keep growing with each game. I think having experience is very important and even more so in the Copa Libertadores. One gains confidence with advancement in the tournament."
"I expect us to continue this form."
