Two clubs in opposite halves of the Premier League table will do battle today in a league match between Crystal Palace and Liverpool. The first-division clash scheduled for 3 p.m. ET will be held at Selhurst Park in London and can be live streamed here free.
Despite being level on points with Manchester City, Liverpool no longer control their own destiny. A goal-differential tiebreaker would ultimately cost the Reds the Premier League title should City win their remaining three matches, but Brendan Rodgers remains unphased. The Irishman believes Liverpool can still capture the league title (h/t to the Guardian). "It is a tough ask for City," Rodgers said.
"To play three games at this stage of the season that really, really matter is a real tough ask. Aston Villa are an incredible team on the counterattack and better away from home, and West Ham on their day can be a really difficult opponent," he added.
"Manchester City need to win all their games, which means they will have won five games in a row and they have done that only once this season, so it will be a wee bit new for them. It is certainly not over by a long way. If we can win our two games, then it could go a long way to deciding whether we finish top or not."
"But it is about concentrating on our game against Crystal Palace."
