Adrien "The Problem" Broner returned to the ring this past Saturday on the undercard of his "big brother" Floyd Mayweather's fight card against Marcos Maidana, the man who handed Broner his first career loss. While Broner seemed mightily impressed with his performance, enough to call out Manny Pacquiao, it remains to be seen whether fans and shot-callers were equally enthused.

Floyd Mayweather doesn't think Canelo-Pacquiao fight will happen?

During his post-fight interview with Showtime's Jim Gray, Broner once again proclaimed himself the "Can Man," because "anyone can get it." He then said, "I've beaten Africans, I just beat the f**k out of a Mexican," before he was cut off and scolded by Gray.

He also called out Pacquiao in the post-fight interview, saying he wanted to fight him before he was done. The claim seems outlandish, and a way for Broner to seem tough while calling out an opponent he knows a match won't be made with, but there could be something to it.

Top Rank boss Bob Arum and Golden Boy head Oscar De La Hoya have both made it clear they've met and may try burying the hatchet that has killed off big matchups for yeas, leading to boxing's "Cold War." If so, Broner vs. Pacquiao could be imminently possible.

Broner biggest possible payday for Lucas Matthysse?

The greater question regarding this, however, is whether Broner is ready for Pacquiao or deserves the chance. Broner can no longer be called untested--he's fought Paulie Malignaggi and Maidana at welterweight--but he's unproven in those tests.

For all the bragging, he barely got past the light-hitting Malignaggi and was thoroughly beaten by Maidana. His win on Saturday was clear, but Carlos Molina was overmatched and Broner moved down to 140 lbs. to get this win.

A better route for Broner, if he's seeking big names, could be a matchup with either Lucas Matthysse or Danny Garcia at junior welterweight.
