The WWE presents Extreme Rules Sunday night live from the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J. in what promises to be a memorable night in sports entertainment. Here are the latest rumors and final match card for an extreme night in the WWE.

WWE Extreme Rules 2014 Preview and Predictions

Wrestlingheadlines.com reports that it's doubtful that Ric Flair will appear at the show even though he was involved in the Evolution and The Shield feud on this past Monday's RAW. According to the report, Flair was set to fly to California for an autograph signing on Saturday then back home to Atlanta with no stop in New Jersey.

While his itinerary didn't call for a stop at Extreme Rules, the WWE could always ask him to fly in last minute to make an appearance at the show.

5 Great Matches in Extreme Rules History

El Torito will take on Hornswoggle in a WeeLC match on the pre-show match at the pay-per-view and rumor has it that WWE has brought in midget wrestler Short Steve Sampson to fulfill some sort of role in the match. It is possible he will be special guest referee while there are also reports that other small wrestlers may also be involved as well.

The WWE added a stipulation to the triple threat match between Cesaro, Jack Swagger and Rob Van Dam as it will now be elimination rules rather than one fall to a finish.
