Tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET on TNT, the most-talked about series of these NBA Playoffs, the No. 3 vs. No. 6 matchup between the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors, will tip off Game 7 from the Staples Center and can be live streamed free by clicking this link. Clippers fans can hear the game on KFWB 980, while Warriors fans may do the same on KNB 680.
If not for the hammer NBA commissioner Adam Silver dropped on disgraced Clippers owner Donald Sterling, there may not have been a "rest of the series" at all. "I'll say this much: Our players thought about not working. So did our employees, and they still felt that way," Clippers coach Doc Rivers said. "They needed somebody to ask them to continue to work and support us. We're still trying to put this thing together."
Clips star Blake Griffin appears ready to dump all the controversy behind him and focus on grabbing this do-or-die game. "It's going to be tough, and you're going to face adversity, and we clearly have faced adversity in this round," Griffin said. "I think it's just important that we all stayed the course and had positive thoughts about it. It is a Game 7, but it's still a playoff game. It doesn't change a whole lot."
Most important will be L.A.'s ability to guard the 3-point shot-Golden State has been above 40 percent from beyond the arc in all the Warriors' wins. Andre Iguodala, the team's top perimeter stopper, also thinks that Golden State's turmoil has been overlooked.
"I think we've had more controversy than them throughout this whole season that gets overlooked, kind of thrown under the rug a little bit," Iguodala said. "We've had some battles this year we've had to deal with, but it's kept us together and made us stronger."
