Two clubs in the bottom half of the English League Championship table will do battle today in a match between Bolton Wanderers and Birmingham City. The second-division clash scheduled for 7:15 a.m. ET will be held at Reebok Stadium in Bolton and can be live streamed here free.
Though Birmingham City enter today's match facing relegation—the club is one point from reaching safety—Bolton manager Dougie Freedman remains on high alert. Complacency will not be an issue facing his club this weekend. For Freedman, pushing forward and ending the season on a high note is of the utmost importance (h/t to the Bolton News). "Six weeks ago people asked how I was going to go about the end of the season after we were safe and I said I'd be professional and win every game," he said.
"This one is no different. I'll put a team out there who will try to win a game for the football club," he added.
"That's how I run my life. I want to win games of football, and I want to finish this season at the Reebok with a win instead of a draw."
